The collections of the Museo della Civilità Romana give us an interesting overview of Roman history from the beginning to the 4th century, the beginning of Christianity in Rome. Interesting reproductions inform us about everyday life and public life in Rome: lime casts of statues, inscriptions, houses (in original size) and objects from everyday use. In addition, we can find sculptures of buildings and architectural complexes of Rome and the provinces of the Roman Empire. The exhibited works have a very high didactic and documentary value and are especially recommended for those who want to know how Rome once looked. The museum is located in Mussolini’s EUR neighborhood, about 5 kilometers outside the city center. It is very easy to reach by metro.
