› A simple journey (duration: 75 minutes) costs 1,00 € on the bus or metro

The tickets are available either at the metro stations, in tobacco shops (“tabacchi“) and also at some newspaper kiosks. Please note that you cannot buy tickets once on the buses or metro trains.

› Travellers staying for at least three days in Rome who wish to visit a lot of monuments and museums should buy the Romapass. This pass (price: 20,00 €) contains: free entrance to the first two sightseeing highlights of your choice, price deductions into other monuments and museums of interest, a 3 -day ticket for the public Underground system, a city plan, an events calendar and listings of the art monuments.

› Anyone also planning trips into the outskirts of Rome should buy the Roma & Più Pass. This pass (price: 25,00 €) contains: reduced admission fees for art monuments in Rome and in the Latium (Ostia Antica, Villa Adriana and Villa d’Este in Tivoli), a 3-day ticket for the Underground system in the Lazio region, a ticket for the Leonardo express from Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini and from Roma Termini to Fiumicino Airport.

The Romapass and the Roma & Più pass are sold in the museums and archaeological sites, which are involved in the initiative. Many airlines offer a shuttle bus.
